Don’t’ Waste the Victory

For most people victory is a momentary accomplishment a high in the moment of life. But as a follower of Christ we live in victory every moment because of what Christ has done in us and does through us. The question comes are we walking in that victory? This is how we have Victory not just in moments, but in our whole life.

How many trophies, ribbons or certificate do you have displayed at your house for something that you won?


Read Romans 8:35-39

Why should we listen to God and do what he says?


How do these verse say we have victory every day?


Pastor Ben said “Our environment impacts our attitude” How does our Surroundings impact our attitude?


Read 1 Samuel 3:1-9 (NIV)

How important is spending personal time with God? What makes it difficult and how do we overcome the challenge?

One of the Fountains Core values is “You can’t do Life alone”. If our relationship with God is a personal relationship why do we need other believers surrounding us?

Don't Waste the Victory

We may not realize it, but we have all had a mentor in our life. Who is the most influential person in your life? How can you be a mentor to the Next Generation to help them know God deeper?

Surrender is a term usually associated with defeat and conditions.

Pastor Ben stated that we surrender to someone when we fear them or love them.

How does surrendering our lives to Christ benefit us as believers?

Read 1 Samuel 3:10

Pastor Ben stated “If you don’t surrender to Christ, you will sell out to the highest bidder.” What are some things in life that seek our surrender and diluted devotion?

What are somethings the world tells us to chase to have success? What is real success?

Next Step

If you haven’t given your live to a relationship with God through Christ and found the victory through Him. That is your first step in a life of purpose and meaning.

If you are surrounding yourself with people and places that hamper your pursuit of Christ, your Next Step is change your environment and surround yourself with people who push you to Christ.

If you define success by temporary achievements and goals, your next step is to realize that success is becoming more like Christ. A success that will last for all eternity.
