What is the most awkward Christmas present you have ever received? Who was it from and why do you think they thought it would be good?

When we see a manger scene in all its serenity are we seeing a real picture of the story of Jesus birth?
Most likely Mary was a teenager somewhere between the age of 13 to 16. Would you trust a teenager with such a huge responsibility? Why? Why not?
Name some other teens God used throughout scripture to accomplish his purpose.
Why do we assume some one has to be an adult for God to use?
Obviously from the writings of Luke we see that Mary already had her life planned out to some degree. Has God ever changed your plan for his purpose?

You may think that you are too young or too old or not gifted enough to be used by God. God doesn’t just save us for heaven but invites us and gift us to join Him in his purpose. Stop looking at what you don’t have and start looking for what God has p[laced in you.
True faith begins when we humble ourselves to be used by God and trust him faith that even though we don’t understand he is still at work.
Through Mary’s obedience salvation came to the world and truthfully its no different for us. As we obey he will use us to bring others to a relationship with him.
