WHY LIFE GROUPS?
We believe that life is a journey that no one should have to go through alone. God wants us to connect with Him and with others so we can experience life together with genuine love, heartfelt worship, relevant ministry, and effective outreach. One way we are doing life together is through our life group ministry. Life Groups get together on a regular basis to build meaningful and lasting relationships. Some groups meet because of a shared interest, others come together for spiritual growth, and others meet to serve in ministry.
Life Groups give you the opportunity to express what God has placed in your heart and to develop the gifts that are uniquely yours. We believe you have something to offer that will bless other people and perhaps reach someone that no one else could.
They're bigger than you think!
In times of need and times of fun, Fountains life groups are your source of friendship and support. They are your key to developing connections with those who share your interests or people who are dealing with similar life issues.
Small groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with the Lord. Groups meet once a week in homes, businesses, restaurants, or at the church. The groups change and begin again three times a year, so you have the opportunity to try out different ones. You'll never fully experience all that The Fountains has to offer until you connect in a life group!
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. - Acts 5:42
Life groups were vital to the church's growth then, and they are just as vital now.
Becoming a leader
We believe that everyone has areas of strength and gifting that could benefit others. The first step in becoming a life group leader is to attend the Life Group Leader Orientation. These classes are offered throughout the year to give you an overview of what it takes to start a group. You’ll discover that it’s easier than you think.
